2. Government of Hungary (Stipendium Hungaricum) Scholarship Program for International Students

The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme, by the Hungarian Government, offers international students the opportunity to undergo study of all types in Hungary for free. The core mission of the program is to increase the number of foreign students in Hungary and to encourage Hungarian higher education institutions to attract top foreign students. The FAO-Hungary scholarship program enables a select group of young professionals to undertake master’s level studies in English at one of Hungary’s agricultural universities.

4. Czech Government Bachelors and Masters Scholarships for Developing Countries – Charles University

Thanks to a generous contribution from the Czech Ministry of  Education, Youth, and Sport, the Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles University is able to offer a limited number of partial scholarships for students of all fee based programs.

Under the terms of this scholarship, students will receive a waiver of school fees for their first semester of study, plus a one-off payment of 50 000 CZK (about 2050 EUR) as a contribution towards living costs. School fees for the second semester of study will NOT be waived.

8. Embassy of Poland in Nairobi Scholarships for African Students

The Government of Poland, through the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi, offers partial scholarships to students from the following countries below. The degree studies are preceded by a year-long Polish language course in Poland in the city of Lodz (Łódź) (“zero year”).

Candidates that were granted the scholarship will be requested to submit to the Embassy their original secondary school certificates, duly legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country where they were issued. As the academic year in Poland starts on the 1st of October and newly admitted students have to travel there in the last days of September, please submit your national visa application on time.

9. Czech Government Scholarships for Developing Countries

The Czech Ministry of  Education, Youth, and Sport offers scholarships for developing countries to study at public universities in the Czech Republic. Applications for these scholarships are open to all students from developing countries and/or countries going through a process of political and economic transition.

Upon a decision of the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports, scholarships of the Government of the Czech Republic are granted to promote specific bachelor’s, master’s, follow-up master’s, and/or doctoral study programs in the full-time mode of study of a specific study program pursued by a university (or its faculty) for a period that equals the regular duration of studies.

12. Government of Austria IPT Scholarships for Developing Countries
