The University of Strathclyde is delighted to offer International applicants the opportunity to apply for a scholarship to undertake the MSc Business Translation and Interpreting course, commencing September 2017.

About the Award: With a professional proficiency in translation and interpreting and with a specialism in business and commerce, students have opportunities in both public and private sectors: translation, global commerce, the media. The scholarship offers students the opportunity for the course of a lifetime after which they could become translators, interpreters, technical writers, international communication specialists in advertising, marketing, the media and public affairs.

Eligibility: Students from all academic backgrounds are welcome

  • IELTS overall 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in all components
  • Completion of both English language oral and written aptitude tests
  • University degree 80% (75% for prestigious institutions)

Number of Awardees: Five(5)

Value of Scholarship: £5,000 tuition fee waiver.

Duration of Scholarship: 12 months
