From students to young and professional entrepreneurs, various scholarships and awards exist for African scholars and organisations every year.

Below is a list of scholarships with application deadlines in the month of August 2020.

100 Rhodes Trust Scholarships for African/International Students at University of Oxford

Application Deadlines: East Africa/Kenya/Zimbabwe: 31st August. Southern Africa: 15th August.

Each year, the Rhodes scholarship is offered to Rhodes Scholars selected worldwide  to study for postgraduate degree at university of Oxford.

University of Pretoria MasterCard Scholarships (Masters) for African Students

Application Deadline: 31st August

The University of Pretoria (UP) in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation (MCF) is currently offering scholarships for high achieving African students interested in studying at postgraduate levels, commencing in January 2020.

IWC Master’s Scholarships in Australia for International Students 

Application Deadline: 1st August

The International Water Centre (IWC) Australia offers Masters Scholarship for International Students who are enrolling in Water Management Programme at IWC.

University of Sussex Nigeria Scholarships 

Application Deadline: 1st August

The department of business and management, University of Sussex UK is offering scholarship for Nigerian students to study for masters at the university.

University of Canterbury International Scholarships for Undergraduate Students

Flinders University Australian Government Research Training Program (AGRTP) for International Students
