LSTM is inviting applications from medical doctors (MBBS or equivalent) from developing countries, who have at least two years clinical working experience specialising in the field of Paediatrics and applying for the MSc Tropical Paediatrics (MTP) at LSTM, for the Thomas Mark Scholarship.

About the Award: LSTM’s MSc in Tropical Paediatrics produces graduates who are experienced, committed, informed, proactive and capable of taking substantial and leading professional roles.

Field of Study: MSc in Tropical Paediatrics.

Type: Masters

Eligibility: Applicants who:

  1. are nationals of a developing country; and
  2. are currently working in a developing country and will return to work in a developing country upon completion of the MSc in Tropical Paediatrics; and
  3. can demonstrate a strong research interest, evidenced by published papers or conference presentations

Selection Criteria: Applicants are required to demonstrate a strong interest in research, evidenced by published papers and conference presentations.

Number of Awards: 2

Value of Scholarship: The scholarship will cover tuition fees, flights, accommodation, and a living allowance.

Duration of Scholarship: 1 year
