About the Award:Â The mission of the Firoz and Najma Foundation is to provide educational support for students from underdeveloped countries, to support the arts in selected communities, and to initiate ground level education and health programs aimed at assisting young women. Firoz Lalji, an alumnus of LSE said: ‘LSE has had a great and positive impact on my life. This is my way of connecting my alma mater to Uganda and to see a steady flow of future leaders that in turn will benefit not only the deserving students, but also Uganda’s development’.

Eligibility: The Foundation has established an endowed scholarship for students from Belize or Uganda.
Value of Scholarship: The Scholarship has a value of £8,000. If no suitable student from Belize or Uganda is found, students from other countries may be considered.

How to Apply:Â To apply for LSE funding for programmes beginning in September 2019, you must:

- – Receive an offer of a place (conditional or unconditional)
