Linköping University, Sweden offers the LiU International Scholarship for foreign students to study for Masters Programme in 2020

Eligible Countries: The scholarship is open to non-EU/EEA students who are liable to pay tuition fees. However the programme is not open for students from the following 12 countries: Bangladesh, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia. Students from these countries may apply for a Swedish Institute Scholarship.

About Scholarship: The LiU International Scholarship is aimed at supporting international students with significant academic potential from countries outside the European Union/European Economic Area (and Switzerland) who are required to pay tuition fees for studies. The scholarship is open for students who have applied for a master’s programme at Linköping University through the online national application website (see link below) and who have chosen a programme at Linköping University as their first priority (ranked as No.1 out of 4)

Eligibility: Students who have applied for a master’s programme at Linköping University and who meet all of the following conditions are eligible to apply for a scholarship:
Number of Scholarships: Limited
Value of Scholarship: With LiU International Scholarships, tuition fees are reduced by 25, 50 or 75%.
Duration: For the duration of the masters programme
How to Apply: The application opens each year for a very short window of time. Eligible students are invited to apply before the deadline for applications closes. When applications are open for the LiU International Scholarship, you will find an online application form link on this page.
Please note: Linköping University reserves the right to determine internally, on a year by year basis, how many scholarships will be offered, what percentage will be offered and to determine the merit process once eligibility has been met and if there are more applicants than scholarships available.
