Application is open for Nigeria Investigates, a journalism project that identifies and trains Nigerian journalists to report on consequential stories using the techniques of investigative reporting.

About the Award: Nigeria Investigates is a groundbreaking investigative journalism project that works with Nigerian journalists to identify, report and produce stories. Journalists get to work with Africa’s most successful undercover journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, to pitch, shape, report and produce stories that affect society in a progressive way.

Type: Short Courses/Training

Eligibility: Applications are open to print, online, television, video, radio and multimedia journalists working in Nigeria. Applicants must show evidence of journalistic work produced for a Nigerian or international media organization between January 2016 and May 2017. Experience in investigative reporting is a plus.

Number of Awards: Not specified

Value of Award: Selected journalists will work with investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas to pitch, shape, report and produce stories.
