The Faculty of Engineering at Strathclyde is delighted to offer the Dr Alex Ekwueme Scholarship for a Nigerian student planning to commence their postgraduate taught programme in engineering from September 2019.

About the Award: Dr Ekwueme has a close affiliation with Strathclyde, having obtained his PhD in Architecture from Strathclyde. In 1979, he was elected the first Vice-President of Nigeria.
Applicants to this scholarship must hold an offer to study a postgraduate taught programme within the Faculty of Engineering from September 2018.

Eligibility:Â This award is open to an international fee paying student from Nigeria who has applied to a postgraduate taught degree in the Faculty of Engineering at Strathclyde for September 2018 start date.

Value of Award:The value of the award is £5,000 and will be awarded as a contribution to accommodation and living costs during the duration of study at Strathclyde.
