About the Award: One startup can win a place on this programme by pitching in front of an expert panel at the Startup Summit in Edinburgh on November 1.  The program includes meetings with entrepreneurs, investors and executives who are driving forward Silicon Valley’s culture of innovation and creativity. Throughout their time in San Francisco, Mountain View and Palo Alto we put them in front of some of the biggest innovators on the planet, world renowned accelerators, the venture capitalists behind Tesla and Twitter, as well as the globally recognised tech campus which incubated Uber and Spotify.

- Startups applying to enter the Silicon Valley Accelerate Competition must be technology-focused, in possession of a valid passport and available to travel during April 2018.
- There will be a semi-final pitching round, while the final will be held at the Startup Summit.
