Martha Farrell Fellowship on Sexual Violence 2019 for African Scholars (Funded to Delhi, India)

Academic staff in East African universities can apply for a one-week fellowship in Delhi, India, to develop an anti-sexual harassment programme for their home university. 

Application Deadline: 8th May 2019 at 23:59 UTC+1.

Eligible Countries: Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.

About the Award: The Martha Farrell Foundation is offering the fellowship in partnership with the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) to staff in universities in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.

Type: Training, Fellowship

Eligibility: Open to professional and academic staff of ACU member universities in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.

Value of Award: 

  • The Fellow will receive funded return economy travel to New Delhi and accommodation, local travel, and sustenance while undertaking the training.
  • In addition, a grant of up to GBP £1000 can be claimed for research costs and other costs arising from the fellowship.

Duration of Award: Travel will take place in September or October 2019. The exact dates will be discussed with the successful applicant.
