As part of the strategy to facilitate partner engagement within the framework of the African German Youth Initiative (AGYI), the African Union Commission (AUC) and the German Federal Enterprise for International Cooperation (GIZ) will convene an Ideation Dialogue Forum on Youth Exchanges volunteerism which will explore innovative approaches to skills.

About the Award: The strategy will provide a platform for sharing experiences, discuss key strategies for expanding existing processes, and identify opportunities for expansion. The exchange partners, participants and exchange rate and volunteerism.
Type: Workshop
Selection Criteria: Participants in the Forum will be pre-selected on the following criteria:
- Be between the age of 18 and 35
- Proficiency in at least English or French
- Have a valid passport
- Have a relevant experience in youth exchange and / or youth voluntary programs
The selection criteria will be based on a geographical representation, a balanced gender distribution, a diversity of backgrounds, and the quality of the applications. Successful applicants will be notified by no later than 14 August 2018.
Number of Awards: The Ideation Dialogue Forum is designed for a maximum of 100 participants.
Value of Award: Transportation and accommodation costs will be covered
Duration of Programme: 2-4 September 2018.
