The Institute for Analytics and Data Science is presenting its fifth annual Summer School, bringing you two weeks of cutting-edge courses across the field of data science and analytics.

Application Deadline: 5th January 2020 at 23:59.

About the Award: Due to our UNESCO commitments, IADS are very pleased to offer a number of fee-only scholarship opportunities for the 2019 Summer School.

Our Summer School provides a unique opportunity to:

  • attend state-of-the-art courses delivered by world leading academics and industry partners from around the globe

  • attend keynotes from renowned experts, and

  • network with your peers in an invaluable forum for knowledge exchange.

Whether you’re interested in the curation and management of big data, advanced techniques and methods including artificial intelligence and statistical methods, or applications of big data in fields ranging from business and finance to bioinformatics, you’ll find a set of relevant courses for you.

Eligibility: These scholarships are awarded on an application basis, and only delegates who satisfy the below criteria are eligible to apply:

  1. Applicants must be students at an educational institution

  2. Applicants must be from a developing country

  3. Applicants must be able to cover their own accommodation and travel fees upon successful receipt of the award

Number of Awards: Limited

Value of Award: fee-only

Duration of Programme:  29 July – 09 August 2019

How to Apply: 

  • Scholarship applications will be accepted from 29 October 2018, and all completed scholarship applications must be sent to iadssum@essex.ac.uk by 2 December 2018 at 23:59. Strictly no extensions will be made to this deadline.
