Type: Call for Papers

Value of Award:

  • It is the only consistent high-level student law review in Kenya presently.
  • It aims to promote the growth of quality African legal literature, evidence from past themes and previous authors.
  • Focus is given to the quality of the paper and not the academic credentials of the author. In fact, the SLR prides itself in its quality assurance measures such as creation of a marking rubric to ensure uniformity of mark allocation and blind review editing which curtails any biases that the editors may have.
  • Quality feedback is provided on the authors’ papers irrespective of whether or not their papers are selected for publication so as to help the authors improve on their skills.

How to Apply: Kindly refer to the following documents:

The manuscripts must be e-mailed to lawreview@strathmore.edu

  • It is important to go through all application requirements on the Programme Webpage (see link below) before applying
