About the Award:Â The UKSA IPP Scholarship is provided by the UK Space Agency (UKSA) under its International Partnership Programme which is targeted at delivering sustainable, economic or societal benefits to developing economies in line with the UN sustainable development goals (SDGs).
The course is uniquely designed to address the global skills gap in satellite data utilisation by training students in satellite data acquisition, processing and interpretation using data science. Additionally, the course will deliver entrepreneurship training that will enable students to generate their own business ideas and start-ups in the area of satellite applications for sustainable development.

Eligibility:
- This scholarship is available for students applying to the MSc Satellite Application (with Data Science) for the academic year 2019-2020. The scholarship is available for self-funded (non-EU)  applicants to this course from  Kenya, Namibia, South Africa and other African countries.
- Applicants to the MSc Satellite Applications (with Data Science) who are chosen for the scholarship will be contacted by the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
