Up to 1,500, Chevening scholarships are offered every year to international students to study in UK. The scholarship offers full financial support for a Master’s degree and the opportunity to become part of an influential global network of over 44,000 alumni. This scholarship expects you to have at least two years’ work experience.
2. Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship
This Scholarship Programme by the Hungarian Government, offers international students the opportunity to undergo study of all types in Hungary for free. 3. Australia Awards Scholarship
This initiative of the Australian Government, is a program with up to 3000 Masters Scholarships every year for eligible working class students – with 1000 going to African students. 4. Fulbright Student Program
The Fulbright Foreign Student Program helps graduate students, young professionals and artists from abroad to study and conduct research in the United States. The scholarships are for a Master’s or PhD degree, and can also be awarded for non-degree postgraduate studies. The number of awards differs per country, but approximately 4,000 foreign students receive Fulbright scholarships each year.
5. DAAD Scholarships
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) supports thousands of students and professions from developing countries with a variety of scholarships ranging from undergraduate degrees to faculty visits at German Universities. Some of these scholarships come with internships.

7. Beijing Government Scholarships
The Beijing Government Scholarship was established by Beijing Municipal Government, aiming to provide tuition fees fully or partially to the international students studying or applying for studying in Beijing.
8. Eiffel Excellence Scholarships
This Scholarship Programme was established by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development to attract top foreign students to enroll in their master’s and PhD courses. It encourages applications from emerging and industrialized countries at master’s and PhD levels.
9. Chinese Government Scholarships
The Chinese government, plus its provincial governments in addition to its universities offer a large number of scholarships to international students. Some of the scholarship programmes include the Chinese university scholarship, the Bilateral Scholarship Program, MOFCOM Scholarship to mention a few. 10. Schwarzman Scholars Program
Blackstone Co-Founder Stephen A. Schwarzman personally contributed $100 million to the Schwarzman Scholars program and is leading a fundraising campaign to raise an additional $350 million from private sources to endow the program for long time. The $450 million endowment will fully support up to 200 scholars every year from around the world for a one-year Master’s Degree program at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China.
11. Ashinaga Scholarships for Orphans
The Ashinaga Scholarship is a 100-Year Vision to provide quality education to children orphans in Africa. Winners of this undergraduate scholarship can study in any university they choose in Japan and the cost of tuition, accommodation, insurance, flight, and monthly stipend which covers food and necessary academic costs, will be covered.
12. Japanese Government MEXT Scholarships
This scholarship is offered to international students who wish to study at Japanese universities covering all costs. The Japanese Govt also offers scholarships for teacher-training and scholarships into technical colleges.
13. Joint Japan World Bank Group Scholarship
This Scholarship provides annual awards to cover the cost of completing a master’s degree in a Japanese university. Several of this scholarship is awarded every year to students from developing countries with the main criterion being that you must be employed in development-related work in a paid full- time position and be applying to a master degree program in a development-related topic.
14. Japan Africa Dream Scholarship
The Japan Africa Dream Scholarship Programme is open to applicants from African development Bank member countries who have had at least 1 year of paid employment in their home country or in other African countries. The scholarship program provides tuition, a monthly living stipend, round-trip airfare, health insurance, and travel allowance for you to study for a Masters degree in Japan.

16. OPEC Fund for International Development Scholarships

17. Cambridge Trust International Scholarships
The Trust awards approximately 500 undergraduate,masters and PhD scholarships annually from 85 countries across the world. During its history of over 30 years of offering scholarships at the University of Cambridge, the Trust has awarded over 19,000 scholarships to international students.
18. Clarendon Fund Scholarships
The Clarendon Fund offers around 140 fully funded scholarships every year to academically excellent graduate students from all around the world at the University of Oxford. The Clarendon Fund was launched in 2001, and since that time has enabled over 2,500 scholars from around the world to undertake graduate study at Oxford.
19. Gates Cambridge Scholarships for International Students
The Gates Cambridge Scholarship programme was established in October 2000 by a donation of US$210m from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to the University of Cambridge. Masters and PhD Scholarships are awarded to outstanding applicants from countries outside the UK.
20. Rhodes Trust Scholarships
Each year, the Rhodes scholarship is offered to 95 Rhodes Scholars selected from 64 countries worldwide to study for postgraduate degree at university of Oxford. 21. Rotary Peace Fellowship Programs
Each year, Rotary selects individuals from around the world to receive fully funded academic fellowships at one of its peace centers. These fellowships cover tuition and fees, room and board, round-trip transportation, and all internship and field-study expenses. Up to 50 master’s degree fellowships are awarded at Duke University and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA and other non-US institutions.
22. MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program
Started in 2012, the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program allows students whose talent and promise exceed their financial resources to complete their education. The Program provides full financial, social, and academic support to Scholars. The Scholarship Program is anticipated to benefit 15,000 young people for secondary, undergraduate and Masters levels within 8 to 10 years.
