However, five of these schools are public, allowing lower enrollment for residents and better chances of entry. A list of Florida medical schools with links to their sites is provided. Inside information: this is a relatively new school, with the first class of graduates in 2013. Although it is a public school, approximately 1/4 of the class are not Florida residents. This school awarded its first class full 4-year scholarships with living expenses. Awesome! They are looking to build their reputation and, therefore, will offer competitive applicants great scholarships, which include full tuition and living expenses (around $ 240,000!).
