Coursera offers the world’s best courses Online for free
We are THRILLED to announce that 12 universities — including three international institutions — will be joining Princeton University, Stanford University, University of Michigan, and University of Pennsylvania in offering classes on Coursera.

The courses are not just videotaped lectures. They’re streamed in real-time, and they’re increasingly interactive, giving the professor the option to pause and instantly poll the students to see if they understand what s\he’s just said. They include regular assignments and multiple-choice tests, and Coursera is rolling out a program for humanities classes that would have students grade one another’s essays.
