Supported by the Brown Institute for Media Innovation and Code for Africa, we are launching a set of Solutions Journalism Fellowships.

Eligibility: You may apply as a reporter or as an editor.

Selection Criteria: While it is not a requirement, journalists who intend to apply for the reporting grants are encouraged to attend a Maternal Figures webinar on using the database and reporting on maternal health from a solutions journalism perspective. If you’re considering an application for the grant and would like to ask us some questions, please join our Q&A session on February 6, 2021.

Value of Award: This programme will support four journalists every quarter with a stipend to cover a maternal health story or introduce solutions journalism to their newsrooms. You may apply as a reporter or as an editor.
