China-South Africa Health Science Scholarship 2021 for post-graduate students

The International Relations Office at the University of the Western Cape (UWC) is pleased to announce the availability of the China-South Africa Health Science Scholarship to support post-graduate students who plan to continue doing research at UWC.

About the Award: The scholarship is open to all UWC post-graduate students and researchers who are devoted to studies deepening scholarly engagement with our Chinese Higher education partners, with a special focus on the students and researchers in the Faculty of Natural Sciences and the Faculty of Community and Health Sciences. The China-South Africa Health Science Scholarship speaks to the value of communities, public health, and evidence-informed decision-making. This is in line with UWC’s strategic performance goal of striving towards an internationally competitive science, technology, and innovation system.

• Completed CV.
• Applicants must be South African citizens (ID copy).
• Full-time registered post graduate students.
• Strong recommendation letters from the HOD/Dean of Department/Faculty
