The UNCTAD eTrade for Women Masterclass will be held online on 31 August – 2 September 2021 and is open to women digital entrepreneurs based in the Eastern Africa region.

Digital transformation offers growth opportunities for African businesses, but women entrepreneurs still face obstacles to successfully grow their businesses. The eTrade for Women initiative, championed by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), invites women entrepreneurs in the digital and e-commerce sector to the next Masterclass for Francophone Africa. The Masterclass is organized in partnership with Birame Sock, Founder and CEO of Kwely, and eTrade for Women Advocate. Sessions will take place online, in French, on 5-7 October 2022.
