Who can apply for ACME Health and HIV/AIDS Reporting Training?
Reporters, editors and content producers in Uganda who want to develop or improve their skills in health reporting.
Applicants are expected to:
- Have at least two years experience working in the media
- Be ready to participate in all five days of the in-person workshop
- Publish/broadcast at least two stories following the training

What is the Benefit of ACME Health and HIV/AIDS Reporting Training?
Participating journalists will receive a scholarship to attend an intensive 5-day workshop led by ACME’s training team and experts in the fields of healthcare and HIV/AIDS. By the end of the workshop, they will leave with a greater understanding of current debates and issues in Uganda’s healthcare sector, a deeper knowledge of the players and their progress in achieving the country’s health development goals, and tools to produce content that informs and engages audiences.
