Choosing to attend college online is certainly a less stressful way to get the job done. You won’t have to travel to campus for school, and you won’t need to deplete your income by quitting your job. Still though, you should always save as much money as possible, look into these affordable programs.

Western Governors University

According to Best Colleges Online‘s article, “Top 10 Most Affordable Online Colleges,” this school costs only $2890 for a six month period, which comes to around $160 per credit. Some schools are about $1,000 per credit!

Thomas Edison State
Here is another school that the article recommends. At $5,322 for in state residents and $7,837 for out of state residents for a whole year, it’s really hard to beat these prices.

Southern New Hampshire
One last school from this particular article is Southern New Hampshire. It is a bit more expensive than the other ones listed, but at $320 per credit, it is still an amazing deal.

Tidewater Community College
When you need to take classes for your associates degree, look into this school. College Stats lists the tuition for this program at $2,555 for the entire year. With over 25,000 students, this school is clearly quite popular.

Fort Hays State University
Remember, some of these programs offer both online and on campus opportunities, and Fort Hays is one of those schools. $2,685 is the price listed by College Stats for their tuition. These prices noted are the ones for in-state residents. Please check with the schools for out-of-state prices.

Florida International University
Who doesn’t want to spend time studying in Miami and enjoying all of the beautiful scenery? Well, some people simply cannot! Enroll in this online program at an affordable $3,130 per year.

Western New Mexico
Here is another university that is recommended by College Stats. In-state residents will pay $3,223 per year, and out-of-state residents will pay $11,887. Therefore, this program is best suited for individuals who live in New Mexico and want to learn online.

National American University
It’s always nice to find a school that offers the same price for residents and non-residents of the state, and that’s exactly what you’ll find with National American University. The tuition for everyone is $5,090.

Bellevue University
Having an array of choices is also a smart idea, so you should also consider Bellevue University, which just under 7,800 students attend. The cost for a year’s tuition at this college is $5,445.

Amridge University

Another school that College Stats suggest is Amridge University in Montgomery, Alabama. For $6,240, you’ll be able to join the 720 happy students at this institution.

When you are looking into any of these programs, it’s always important to find out how much part-time tuition costs and what the cost per credit is. Even if you start out full-time, you may need to reduce your workload at some point before you graduate the school.
