The Dr. Matthias and Prudence Niba African Girls in STEM Scholarship provides merit-based scholarships to secondary school & high school female students in Cameroon, Africa, enrolled in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) subjects.

The objective of the program is to uplift and empower Cameroonian girls and female students to aspire to careers in STEM fields. The awards are merit-based and focused on girls from Forms Four to Upper Sixth.

- Female students enrolled in a secondary school and or high school in Cameroon, in Forms Four through Upper Sixth.
- Taking at least 3 subjects in STEM fields; these include Accounting, Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Food Science and Nutrition, Geology, Mathematics, Physics.
- Aspire to a career in a STEM field.
- Demonstrated good character, integrity and ability to serve as a role model for other girls and young women.
