This application is for the Politics of Religion in Africa Journalism Fellowship. The fellowship is supported by LUCE/ACLS (https://www.acls.org/recent-awardees/luce-acls-religion-journalism-and-international-affairs-collaborative-programming-grantees/). Application is open to journalists based in Africa and who are citizens of African countries. Applicants must be early to mid-career journalists with an established record of publication in widely recognized periodicals. The deadline for submission is June 10th, 2022.
Fellowship
Application is open to journalists based in Africa and who are citizens of African countries. Applicants must be early to mid-career journalists with an established record of publication in widely recognized periodicals.
African countries
Applicants must provide a c.v. (including publications), a proposed budget, a timeline, and two essays (500-750 words each): one describing the project they would like to pursue and its relevance to the politics of religion in Africa, and one describing their career thus far and their future ambitions. These materials must all be submitted below in a single PDF document.
