Against this backdrop, Africa remains the youngest continent on planet with over 65% of its current population being under the age of 35. In this regard, the Mwalimu Nyerere Pan-African Young Leaders Fellowship Programme seeks to tap into this rich demographic dividend where youth across the continent will merge in one place for a comprehensive and rigorous leadership and mentorship fellowship programme with a particular purpose of training, mentoring, nurturing and transforming youth so that they are gloomed for their respective current and future leadership callings.
The overall objective of Mwalimu Nyerere Pan-African Young Leaders Fellowship Programme is to explore, research on and disseminate Mwalimu Julius Nyerere’s leadership philosophy, style and practices which promote peace, unity and people-centered development to African young leaders so as to transform them to resourceful and productive current and future leaders of the continent.
