The Youth to Work Programme is a fantastic opportunity for Zambian graduates to contribute to the growth and development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Zambia. This initiative, a collaboration between Futuremakers by Standard Chartered and Challenges Worldwide, offers graduates the chance to work with SMEs in Lusaka, providing them with valuable work experience and helping local businesses thrive.
By participating in the Youth to Work Programme, graduates will:
- Gain relevant work experience, including internships and voluntary work

- Foster an interest in small business development, entrepreneurship, and enterprise
- Enhance their knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Improve their written and spoken English skills

Who can Apply?
To be eligible for the Youth to Work Programme, applicants must:
- Hold a relevant qualification from a recognized tertiary institution
- Be between 21 and 30 years of age (21 to 35 for persons with disabilities)
- Possess relevant work experience, including previous internships and voluntary work
- Demonstrate good communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Show interest in small business development, entrepreneurship, and enterprise
- Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Be able to commit to a 14-week full-time placement
- Be fluent in written and spoken English
