What is the Benefit of Award? By enrolling in this programme:
- You may qualify as a Building Inspector and Assessor with the University of Johannesburg and get professionally registered with the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP).
- Building inspectors approve building plans and inspect workmanship during construction. They can assess buildings as well as post construction. They protect housing consumers against shoddy workmanship.
- As a building inspector, you can be emplo[yed by a municipality, private sector or be a Professional Building Inspector Consultant.
- This programme also targets candidates who are interested in becoming registered Artisans specializing as building materials experts including maintenance work contractors.Â
