Africa Uncensored with the support of Oxfam in Kenya is pleased to announce a comprehensive tuition free investigative journalist training program on Fiscal Justice and Illicit Financial Flows (IFFs). This program aims to equip investigative journalists, with the knowledge and skills to report on fiscal injustices accurately and effectively, thereby serving as truth agents in demystifying injustices in Kenya’s economic landscape including debt, taxation, and the wastage of economic resources through IFF’s and corruption.

We invite committed journalists, who have demonstrated experience in reporting on illicit financial flows to apply for this unique opportunity.

Who can Apply?
We are seeking applications from investigative journalists who meet the following criteria:
- At least 2-3 years’ professional experience in investigative journalism, with a track record of stories on illicit financial flows.
- Strong interest in investigative journalism, public finance, and illicit financial flows. Availability and commitment to participate in the scheduled training and mentorship session scheduled from December 2023 through to 2024.
- Women journalists are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Based in Nairobi, Kenya.
