The Women Income Generating Opportunities Initiative (WIGOI) for Women at Capital Solutions.

Siemens Stiftung and Capital Solutions Limited are working together to carry out the “Women Income Generation Opportunities Initiative (WIGOI)” project.Through this initiative, young women (18–30 years old) living in semi-rural and semi-urban areas will receive specialized 360° educational solutions to increase their incomes and career opportunities. This is a highly interactive program that includes networking opportunities through the Social Entrepreneurship Forum, face-to-face coaching and mentoring through site visits, capacity building, and access to small debt capital through the Social Investment Fund. Personal and business profiles are also profiled on all of our social media platforms.

In this call for applications, we are seeking 100 young women from semi-urban and rural areas, as well as marginalized women such as refugees and people with disabilities, to participate in a demanding program that will change their lives through career and vocational skill-building engagements.

Eligibility Criteria:

Those concentrating on agriculture, health, education, renewable energy, and climate change will receive special attention. The following are our entry requirements:

  1. At ease utilizing digital tools.
  2. Competent in both written and spoken English.
  3. Able to use a computer or smartphone to access the internet on a regular basis (at least every two weeks).
  4. Attend the scheduled in-person events regularly.
