You can apply for a direct, accelerated, or extended master’s program in Scotland with your HND. While some universities allow courses in engineering, health, and IT, business management courses account for the majority of HND applicants’ coursework.

However, before pursuing any master’s program with their HND, these candidates must have work experience.

The higher national diploma is equivalent to a degree certificate and is only issued by polytechnics and technical schools.
