At the heart of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) lies a commitment to crafting policies that uplift lives globally. With 38 member countries, we strive to enhance economic and social well-being worldwide through evidence-based strategies and collaborative efforts. From bolstering economic performance to tackling educational challenges and combatting tax evasion, we serve as a catalyst for positive change.
The Global Relations and Cooperation Directorate (GRC) within the OECD plays a pivotal role in advancing our mission. By fostering relationships with partner countries and international organizations, we facilitate cooperation to address pressing global issues. Our commitment extends to promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment, recognizing their crucial role in fostering sustainable and competitive economies.
Within the GRC, the Middle East and Africa Division spearheads initiatives to promote gender equality across the region. One such initiative is the MENA-OECD Women’s Economic Empowerment Forum, a platform for stakeholders to engage in policy dialogue and peer learning. Additionally, through projects like the recently funded endeavor aimed at enhancing financial inclusion for women entrepreneurs, we are actively working to empower women economically in the region.
As we continue to expand our efforts, we are seeking a Junior Policy Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to various projects focused on women’s economic empowerment in the Middle East and Africa region. Under the guidance of experienced project managers, you will engage in research, analysis, and policy drafting to support our initiatives.
