How Long will Award Last?

Invitation for the people interested in participating in the EPWP Programme can apply for a eleven (11) months fixed contract.

How to Apply:

Applications are hereby invited from unemployed people who will support the Limpopo Department of Social Development to provide the required services in the various departmental institutions.

Application letters must be submitted together with a detailed curriculum vitae (CV) and a letter from the Municipality/ward councilor or Social Worker showing that they are from indigent /vulnerable households. Please note that certified copies of qualifications should be submitted only by shortlisted during the interviews.

Applications for the Provincial Office should be addressed to the Head of Department: Private Bag X 9710, Polokwane 0700. Applications for the districts should be addressed to the respective districts offices as listed on Annexure B of this notice.

Child and Youth Care Workers (CYCWS) x54
Stipend
: R3 520 per month

  • An appropriate recognised NQF level 4 (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification
  • NQF level 4 qualification in Child and Youth Care Work.
  • Registration with the South African Council for Services Professions.

Ancillary Health Care Workers x10
Stipend: 
R3000 per month

Requirements:
•An appropriate recognised NQF level 4 (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
•Certificate in Ancillary Health Care

Food Service Aid x16
Stipend: 
R2 600 per month

Requirements:
•Junior Certificate (Standard 8)
•People coming from indigent households are encouraged to apply.

Laundry Aid x25
Stipend: 
R2 600 per month

Requirements:
•Junior Certificate (Standard 8)
