The Larisa’s Children Scholarship for postsecondary Undergraduate or Graduate Students in 2024

Deadline: March 31st, 2024 (11:59 p.m. EST)
Please write a short answer to the following 2-question prompt:
1. Why do non-profits like LalaForever matter, specifically in regard to children?
2. If you could start your own non-profit, what would its focus be and why?
(500 words maximum)
$150
The recipient will be announced on April 12th, 2024.
$150 to one student, payable by the 26th of April
The award is not renewable, but you may reapply for this scholarship each month or year if you meet the eligibility requirements.
Payments are made via wire transfer or check after verification of enrollment.

The award will be given in U.S. currency. If applying from outside the U.S., please consider the conversion rate before applying.

Be a postsecondary undergraduate or graduate student, or plan to enroll in an undergraduate or graduate study, at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the 2024–2025 academic year.
2.8 GPA or higher (those applying from outside the U.S. will be assessed using their specific country’s grading system).
Begins: November 1st, 2023 (12:00 AM EST)
Deadline: March 31st, 2024 (11:59 p.m. EST)
Please write a short answer to the following 3-question prompt:
1. Tell us why non-profits like LalaForever matter, specifically in regards to children.
2. If you could create a program, or service, under the LalaForever name, what would it be?
3. What would this program mean to you, and how would you run it?
(2000 word maximum)
$500 (up to $2000 total)
The recipient will be announced on April 30th, 2024.
$500 to one student, payable on the 1st of September
The award is renewable for up to three (3) additional years, or until a degree is earned, whichever occurs first, based on maintaining a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (those applying from outside the U.S. will be assessed using their specific country’s grading system), as well as, full-time enrollment as a student.
Must re-certify or confirm enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program each year, by August 15th (further recertification details given upon receiving a reward).
Payments are made via wire transfer or check, after verification of enrollment.

4. A current, complete transcript of grades. (Transcripts must display the student’s name, school name, grades, and credit hours for each course and term in which each course was or will be taken.
