Applications for the MTN Innovation Program (MTNMIP) 2024 are now open. Interested and qualified media practitioners who increase their knowledge base and expand their horizons can now begin to send in their applications.

About the MTNMIP 2024

The MTN Media Innovation Programme (MIP) is a comprehensive 6-week training program designed for media practitioners in Nigeria. It spans six months and is sponsored by MTN and the Pan Atlantic University. The main objective of the program is to enhance the knowledge and skills of the participants, providing them with a deep understanding of the rapidly changing media landscape and equipping them with the necessary technological tools to create impactful and effective media content. The program also aims to foster innovation and creativity, offering media practitioners improved ways of practice and promoting sustainability in the industry. 

During the training, participants will spend a total of 33 days, which includes sessions held at South Africa and MTN Nigeria headquarters. Additionally, there will be a one-day training at the innovation hub, providing a diverse and well-rounded learning experience for the participants.

Eligibility Criteria

Interested applicants for the MTNMIP 2024 must meet the following requirements: 

• Must be a media professional/practitioner
• Must have a valid International Passport
• Must pass a written test and any subsequent interviews
• Must get a written release from employers to participate in the program
