United Nations Junior Professional Officer (JPO) Programme: The UN  at the Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA)/ Capacity Development Office, has opened applications for its JPO Programme for candidates from developing countries. Candidates from developing countries may apply for positions in the framework of the Italian JPO Programme.

Application Deadline: 31st March 2024 at 3 pm (Italian local time).

About the United Nations Junior Professional Officer Programme: JPOs are usually nationals of Donor countries, however some Donors also finance nationals of developing countries. The JPO programme is open to applicants from participating countries.

Eligibility for United Nations Junior Professional Officer Programme: Candidates must meet all the following requirements to be considered eligible for the 2024/2025 edition:

  • JPO in Investigations
    International Criminal Court (ICC) Unified Teams, Prosecution Pillars, Office of the Prosecutor, The Hague, Netherlands.

  • JPO in Policy Analysis
    United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Bureau for Programme and Policy Support (BPPS), Governance Team,
    New York, USA
    UNDP JPO in Policy Analysis, New York

Candidates must hold the nationality of one of the following eligible countries:
