About the EPL Ghana Public Sector Fellowship Program

The EPL Ghana Public Sector Fellowship is an exceptional professional development program that runs for one year, dedicated to nurturing the skills of highly motivated young graduates. This program is designed to equip the participants with the necessary tools and resources to transform the public sector and influence policies that impact the community positively. The fellowship seeks to identify and nurture young talents who possess the commitment and passion to effect meaningful change in the public sector and policy-influencing organizations in Ghana.

Application Deadline

The deadline for the EPL Ghana Public Sector Fellowship program is April 30, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

Interested applicants for the EPL Ghana Public Sector Fellowship must meet the following requirements: 

  • Must be a Ghanaian citizen with a clean record
  • Must have completed the National Service (NSS) program
  • Must be under 32 years old
  • Must have strong english skills
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must be able to demonstrate good leadership potential 
  • Must have the ability to work under pressure in a professional working environment
  • Must demonstrate commitment to the wider Public Sector work and leadership potential

Required Documents

Below is the list of documents applicants are expected to submit: 

  • Certificates
  • NSS Certificate / ID
  • CV (Strictly 2 pages or less)
  • Copy of Ghana Card / Bio Page of Passport

Application Process

To apply for the EPL Ghana Public Sector Fellowship, you must 

  1. Visit www.eplghana.org
  2. Click the APPLY button and complete the online application.
  3. Upload the following documents:
  • Undergraduate Certificate
  • Proof of completing NSS
  • CV (2 pages or less)
  • Copy of any valid national ID or Passport
  1. Submit the application essays on the following topics: 
  • Describe your interest in Ghana’s Public Sector and how becoming an EPL Fellow aligns with your personal and professional goals (500 words).
  • Share a situation where you demonstrated initiative and leadership. Describe the measures you took, the actions implemented, and the result and impact (500 words).
  • Explain your understanding of Ghana’s Public Sector (300 words).
  • Tell us about what inspires you and why (300 words).
