The project’s partners are the University of Limoges (UNILIM, France), the University of Brescia (UNIBS, Italy), the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU, Spain), and the Abbe School of Photonics at the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena (FSUJena, Germany). The consortium is waiting for approval from the Erasmus+ Agency.

To be considered for the EMINEP/Erasmus Mundus Scholarship, you must satisfy the following conditions:
- Possess a bachelor’s diploma in electronic engineering, telecommunication engineering, photonics, or applied physics.
- The applicants might have solid bases in signal processing, electromagnetism, telecommunications, embedded systems, analog and digital electronics, the propagation of electromagnetic waves, and the principle of photonics.
- Moreover, the applicant might submit the final grade of the bachelor’s program. For instance, applicants can convert their grade through the enic-naric recognition convention.
- Possess previous professional experience (industrial internships, academic projects, summer jobs) and/or research experience.

- The Erasmus Mundus Scholarship student will receive 1400 euros each month during the full duration of the program (a maximum of 24 months).
- The scholarship will cover travel, visa costs, and the living allowance.
- In addition, EMIMEP will provide health and travel insurance to the students during the full period of their studies.
- Finally, EMIMEP will also cover all the tuition fees during the duration of the studies for the students.
