Tell Me About UNICEF Youth Advocates Programme:
Following the success of its inaugural phase from 2018 to 2019, which saw the engagement of 42 Youth Advocates aged between 18 and 24 across 27 countries, UNICEF, alongside UNV, is embarking on the recruitment drive for its second cohort. This initiative seeks to enlist 20 passionate and skilled advocates to join the cause, serving as advocates for the protection and promotion of children’s rights worldwide.

The Youth Advocates Programme offers a unique opportunity for young people to gain invaluable professional experience through a one-year National UN Volunteer (UNV) assignment with UNICEF. Participants will not only contribute their expertise but will also provide essential insights into UNICEF’s initiatives for children and youth.
Furthermore, selected Youth Advocates will benefit from access to a range of learning and professional development opportunities, including online learning programs tailored to enhance their skills and knowledge.
