University of Copenhagen Danish Government Scholarships for International Students 2025
Are you an international student from outside the EU or EEA who wants to further your studies in Denmark? For the January 2025 academic year, the University of Copenhagen (UCPH) has a fantastic opportunity through the Danish Government Scholarship program. This scholarship, which is intended for exceptional students from outside the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, intends to assist gifted people who are enrolled in one of the best master’s programs in Scandinavia.
The Danish Government Scholarship comes with a stipend to help with your basic living expenses, in addition to a full or partial waiver of the tuition charge.

Selection Process:
Scholarships are given out only based on academic merit, without taking into account applicants’ financial situation. There is no requirement to submit a separate scholarship application; all qualified applicants who are given admission will automatically be taken into consideration. Nominated students will get a notification from UCPH via the DANS application portal.

Danish language skills are not required for any of the UCPH Master’s programs that are taught in English. Nonetheless, documentation of English language competency is required, usually in the form of TOEFL or IELTS test results. You may be excluded from taking these tests depending on your background; for additional information, see the prerequisites for the particular program.
