Who can apply?
- Age Requirement: Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old.
- Residence: Candidates should reside in Africa, Latin America, or the Asia-Pacific region.
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years experience in the agri-food or beauty business, preferably running their own business.
- Impact: Applicants must demonstrate a positive impact in one of the scholarship’s focus areas.
- Travel: Must be available to travel to Canada for the summit and participate in the related pre- and post-summit programs from September 15 to September 23, 2024.

Brighter Scholarship Benefits

Focus Areas of the Scholarship

Candidates must be actively working to lessen the agri-food or cosmetic product industries’ environmental impact. This can involve promoting structural reforms, cutting emissions, or engaging in locally and sustainably produced goods.
#2. Nutrition and Health:
The goal of this field is to make more wholesome, reasonably priced food available in low- and middle-income nations. Developing ethical food companies, promoting healthy eating, or promoting locally produced sustainable goods are a few possible initiatives.
#3. Social Impact:
Candidates ought to be enhancing the standard of living for small-holder farmers or other participants in the supply chains for food and cosmetics. This entails supporting safe working conditions, guaranteeing fair earnings, and fighting for equitable livelihoods.
