The deadline for the application of the China Three Gorges University (CTGU) Scholarship is June 30, 2024.

Scholarship Benefits

Also, successful candidates will have access to the following benefits: 

• Undergraduate Students: RMB 10,000
• Master’s Students: RMB 15,000
• Doctoral Students: RMB 20,000
• General Visiting Students: RMB 5,000 per semester or RMB 10,000 per academic year

Eligibility Criteria for the China Three Gorges University (CTGU) Scholarship

Furthermore, applicants must meet the following criteria to qualify for the China Three Gorges University (CTGU) Scholarship

• Non-Chinese nationals in good health.
• Educational background appropriate for the intended program (High School for Bachelor’s, Bachelor’s for Master’s, and Master’s for PhD).
• Age limits apply depending on the program: 18-25 for Bachelor’s, 18-30 for Master’s, and 18-35 for PhD programs.
• For Chinese-taught programs, HSK Level 4 is required at application, with a progression to Level 5 by graduation. For English-taught programs, a minimum of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent is required unless exempted.

Required Documents for admission and scholarship application submission at CTGU

Candidates will also be required to submit the following documents: 

1. Passport information page.
2. Notarized highest education diploma and transcripts.
3. Language proficiency proof (HSK or IELTS/TOEFL).
4. Study plan (Undergrad) or research proposal (for postgraduate applicants).
5. Two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors (for postgraduate applicants).
6. Academic achievements and awards, if any.
7. Foreigner Physical Examination Form.
8. Non-criminal record certificate.

Application Process

Applications must be submitted through the CTGU International Student Management Service Platform. The process involves a preliminary check by the admissions office, an academic review by the respective college, and a comprehensive review by the Hubei Province Department of Education.
