Applications are currently open for the ADB-JSP Scholarship at the Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT). This scholarship opportunity is sponsored by the Asian Development Bank – Japan Scholarship Program (ADB-JSP) and is available for both Thai and international students who are interested in pursuing graduate studies starting from September 1, 2024. The JSP-ADB-SIIT 2025 scholarship aims to support postgraduate studies in fields related to economics, management, science, and technology, as well as other development-related areas. Application Deadline

The deadline for the application for the ADB-JSP scholarship at SIIT is November 30, 2024. The application opens on September 1, 2024. And the registration period is August 2025. 

Scholarship Benefits

Eligible fields of study

The various subjects are eligible under this scholarship scheme: 

  • Science and Technology: Agriculture, Biological Science, Computer Science, Energy, Engineering, Environment, Forestry, Genetics, and Health.
  • Economics, Business, and Management: Such as Accounting, Business Administration/Management, Commerce, E-Business, Entrepreneurship, Economics, Finance, International Cooperation, and Social Sciences.
  • Development Studies: Focused on Asia Pacific Studies, Development Management, and Development Studies.
  • Law and Public Policy: Covering International Business Law, International Environmental Law, Policy Studies, Political Science, Public Administration, and Public Policy.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who want to apply for the ADB-JSP scholarship at SIIT must meet the following eligibility requirements: 

  • Be nationals of an ADB borrowing member country and eligible under Japanese ODA scholarships.
  • Not hold dual citizenship of any developed country.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree with a superior academic record.
  • Possess at least two years of full-time professional work experience post-degree.
  • Be proficient in English.
  • Be under 35 years old at the time of application (with possible exceptions).
  • Be in good health and agree to return to their home country for at least two years post-studies.

Application Process

  • Information Request: Obtain application forms and information from SIIT.
  • Document Submission: Complete all required documents, including the ADB-JSP information sheet and income verification forms. Submit these to SIIT’s Admission Division.
  • Evaluation and Admission: SIIT evaluates applications and decides on admissions.
  • Shortlisting and ADB Review: Shortlisted candidates are reviewed by the ADB, which selects and approves the final awardees.
