Benefits of the 2024 EmpowerHer Accounting Scholarship
The scholarship is to assist young women who want to work toward a professional accounting qualification with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and are between the ages of 18 and 23.
Requirements of the 2024 EmpowerHer Accounting Scholarship
To provide financial support and mentorship to candidates who meet the under-listed criteria:
- Five (5) credit passes in any subject, including English Language, Mathematics, and Financial Accounting, in the West Africa School Certificate Examination, General Certificate of Education, or Senior School Certificate of Education, NECO equivalent, not more than two sittings, or NABTEB.
- Ordinary National Diploma of any Polytechnic recognized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
- Candidates should demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing a career in accounting.
