Eligibility and criteria
To be eligible for a scholarship, student-athletes must:
- Meet the criteria of the Breakthrough Programme and Sport Scholarship Specific Criteria
- Be completing a minimum of 30 credits at the University of Bath.
- Not be serving a period of ineligibility due to an anti-doping rule violation.
- Have a clean conduct record per Student Regulation 7 (Disciplinary Regulations for Students).

For the 2024/25 academic year, we anticipate the following sport scholarships with their eligibility criteria to be awarded:

- Financial support in non-repayable cash awards paid in installments

- Indicate your interest in a Sport Scholarship by selecting “Yes” to question number 14 on the form.
How are Applicants Selected?
- Shortlisting based on criteria and supporting statements.
- Informal interviews with the Performance Sport Officer and Head of Performance Sport in the week commencing October 7, 2024.
- Final selection panel meets before the end of October, comprising key university and sports officials.
