Apply for Keele University Scholarships 2025 for Second-Class Lower Students

In honor of Keele University’s 75th anniversary, they offer scholarships for international students who have excelled in their undergraduate studies. The Postgraduate Global Scholarship provides significant tuition price reductions to assist you in pursuing your academic goals for courses at Keele University beginning in January 2025.

The award is not available for students studying the following programmes:

Who can apply?

  • Qualifying recipients of the scholarships will receive the award in the form of a tuition fee discount. No cash alternative is available, and the award cannot be used in place of any required deposit. 
  • The scholarship is for students who will be based at Keele University and start their studies in September 2024 or January 2025.
  • The award cannot be used for any other year of entry. 
  • Only self-funded international students are eligible, and you must be confirmed as an overseas student for fee-paying purposes.
  • The scholarship is not open to students who are in receipt of funding from external bodies such as local government, charities, or private organizations. 
  • You must be registered for, and attend, a taught postgraduate course that equates to at least one year’s full-time study at the postgraduate level and leads to a named award of at least the postgraduate diploma level at Keele University from September 2024 onwards. This means, for example, that students who attain, or are registered for, a Postgraduate Certificate course, will not receive an award. Students registered for a PhD or an MPhil are not eligible to receive an award.

What is the Benefit of Award?

Enrolled international students who have excelled in their undergraduate studies will automatically receive the scholarship as a tuition fee discount:

  • First-Class Honours: £6,000
  • Upper Second-Class Honours (2:1): £6,000 (previously £3,500)
  • Lower Second-Class Honours (2:2): £3,000 (previously £2,000)

Additionally, this award can be combined with the Keele Alumni Discount if you meet the eligibility criteria for both awards.

How to Apply:

International applicants holding offers for selected postgraduate programmes at Keele University will automatically be considered for the Postgraduate Global Scholarship when their application is assessed as per this notice.
