Tell Me About the Abertay University Scholarships 2025
Abertay University is offering master’s and PhD scholarships for international students for the academic year 2025-2026. This scholarship provides the recipient with a £3,000 award, paid in equal installments in January and April. Located at the heart of Dundee, Abertay combines the advantages of a close-knit campus with the vibrancy of city-center life. All university buildings, as well as shops, bars, clubs, cinemas, and theatres, are within a quarter-mile radius of each other, and the campus is just a few minutes walk from the bus and train stations. Abertay is not only a great place to be a student, but also home to world-leading research teams, whose discoveries are hailed internationally.

Who can Apply for the Abertay University Scholarships 2025
To be eligible for Abertay University Scholarships for International Students, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Required Languages: English. If English is not your first language, you must provide evidence of proficiency at the level required by the University.
- Eligible Countries: All world countries
- You must be registered with Abertay University as a full-time student for your first postgraduate degree. Applicants holding a UK postgraduate degree are not eligible. –
- You must be classified as international (overseas) fee status by Abertay University. – You must have met all the academic conditions attached to your offer of admission as a full-time student in September 2024 or January 2025.
- You must have obtained the equivalent of a 2:1 UK Bachelor’s degree or above.
Please note that this award is not available to currently registered postgraduate students or Abertay alumni.

- If you meet all the eligibility criteria and are awarded an Abertay International Scholarship you will be notified by us by email following your offer of study, by July 1. Should you apply after this date, you will be considered in the second round of scholarship awards, by August 24.
