  • The Graduate Studies Scholarship (GSS), an award of up to $500 per year, is available to MCIS graduate students on a competitive and renewable basis.
  • This scholarship qualifies an on-campus non-resident/international student for in-state tuition and the award.
  • The selection of recipients is competitive, with additional considerations such as area work experience, GPA, etc.
  • Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher. A graduate GPA of at least 3.0 is required if the applicant has already taken graduate classes.
  • Submission of an official undergraduate transcript is required to verify the GPA.ย 
  • If selected, the recipient must enroll in at least nine (9) graduate credit hours each semester of the award, unless fewer hours are required to graduate in the summer.
  • The applicant may not be the recipient of any other scholarships or a graduate assistantship.
  • Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee an award. All students, awarded and denied, will be notified by the Department of Computer Science, Engineering, and Mathematics.
