Who can Apply for the Fully Funded Harvard Academy Scholars Program 2025 to study in the USA?

Interested applicants must meet the following requirements: 

  • The Harvard Academy Scholars Program is open to students from all over the world.
  • Open to individuals who have recently completed or are near completing a PhD or equivalent doctoral program (including SJD and DPhil) in the social sciences.
  • Candidates must be promising in their academic careers​.
  • There is a preference for those knowledgeable in the foreign language, history, and culture of different countries​.
  • Only scholars in social sciences and law are eligible​​.
  • Must be within two years of the program’s start date (August 1, 2025). Therefore, for the application deadline of September 20, 2024, the PhD is after July 31, 2023​.
  • PhD candidates near dissertation completion must submit degree conferral documentation from their university registrar by June 30, 2025, for the August 1, 2025 start date​​.
  • Finalists must attend a personal interview in December 2024, with Harvard Academy covering travel and hotel expenses​.
