The Organization of American States’ (OAS) Scholarships for Latin Americans and Caribbeans in the USA
Puerto Rico is home to the 2024 OAS-UAGM Scholarship program. The recipients of the scholarships will attend the on-site academic programs offered by the Universidad Ana G. Méndez (UAGM), which has several campuses and university centers spread out around the island.
The 2024 OAS-UAGM Scholarship offers a unique opportunity for students from OAS member states (https://www.oas.org/en/member_states/)to pursue higher education at the Universidad Ana G. Méndez (UAGM). This scholarship, provided in collaboration with the Organization of American States (OAS), aims to foster academic and professional development through various onsite programs.

The Organization of American States’ (OAS) Rowe Fund program offers interest-free loans of up to US$15,000, as well as supplementary scholarships of up to US$2,000 for Latin American and Caribbean students studying at U.S. universities. These funds are designed to help cover the expenses associated with tuition and living costs.
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must also be in the process of applying for an interest-free loan. The program supports students in the last two years of their undergraduate or graduate studies and is available to students from 32 eligible countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
