Who can Apply for the Techno-Economic Modelling Undergraduate Scholarship?

You must:

• be currently enrolled full-time in their final year of Bachelor of Engineering Honours (Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering), including combined degrees, within the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sydney
• be enrolled in CHNG5603: Advanced Industrial Modelling and Analysis
• have achieved a minimum Semester Average Mark (SAM) of 65 in your previous semester.

Selection Criteria

a. The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of:

I. academic merit,

II. previous experience in programming, proficiency in use of Python for implementing simulations, including deep learning simulation and data analysis, and

III. a personal statement which demonstrates their knowledge and experience in the environmental sector, with a good understanding of the environmental market. 

b. The Scholarship will be awarded by the Head of School of the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, or their nominated delegates.

What is the Benefit of The Techno-Economic Modelling Undergraduate Scholarship?

The Techno-Economic Modelling Scholarship offers a substantial benefit of $10,000, which is intended to cover the duration of the project work. The scholarship amount will be disbursed in two equal installments, one at the midpoint and the other at the end of the project.
